We Help You With Publishing
Book cover design is not just about making something pretty. It is a strategic tool for marketing. Most authors either design their own cover (bad idea) or hire a generic graphic designer who does not understand genre conventions. The result is a cover that looks nice but does not sell.
At Author Publishers Hub, our cover designers specialize in genre specific design. A romance cover looks nothing like a thriller cover. A children's book cover looks nothing like a literary fiction cover. We study bestsellers in your category, then create a custom cover that signals exactly what readers expect. We also ensure your cover works as a tiny thumbnail on Amazon, a full size image on a bookstore shelf, and everything in between. The result is a cover that earns its place in the marketplace.
The problem: You have a vague idea of what you want, but you do not know what makes a cover effective. You pick colors you like, not colors that convert.
Author Publishers Hub's solution: We start with market research. We look at the top 50 bestsellers in your genre. We analyze color palettes, font styles, imagery trends, and composition rules. Then we create a cover architecture that follows proven conventions while still feeling fresh. Your cover will fit right in on a shelf of bestsellers. It will not scream "self published."
What our architecture gives you:
The problem: Your cover looks okay at full size, but as an Amazon thumbnail it is a blurry mess. No one clicks.
Author Publishers Hub's solution: We design for the thumbnail first. Every element must be readable at the size of a postage stamp. Title big enough. Imagery simple enough. High contrast between background and text. We also design for the "look inside" feature and print covers (front, spine, back). You get a cover that works at every size and on every device.
How we build attention flow:
The problem: You plan to write more books. But each cover looks different. Readers do not recognize your brand.
Author Publishers Hub's solution: We design with series in mind. Even for a standalone book, we create a cover system that can extend to future titles. Same font family. Consistent color palette. Similar layout structure. When readers see your next cover, they will immediately know it is yours. This builds trust and repeat sales.
Our branding and series work includes:
The problem: You are afraid of a long, expensive process with endless revisions and missed deadlines.
Author Publishers Hub's solution: We give you a streamlined 3 stage process. Stage one: creative brief. Stage two: our designer creates 2 to 3 concept mockups. You choose one direction. Stage three: we refine that concept with up to 3 rounds of revisions. You receive final files for ebook, print, and social media. The entire process takes 10 to 14 days. No surprises.
What our process guarantees:
Book cover design thrives on genre alignment, simplicity, and professional execution. Great covers sell books without a single word of marketing copy.
Great book cover design is a blend of market research, visual psychology, and technical skill. Author Publishers Hub brings all three. You bring your story. Together, we create a cover that competes with the bestsellers.
We treat your cover like it will sit on the front table of a bookshop. Because it might.
Imagine your cover standing out on Amazon. People clicking because the design demands it. That click is one cover away.
A professional cover is not a luxury. It is the single best return on investment you can make. It can:
Most authors spend months writing and hours on their cover. Then they wonder why sales are low. Author Publishers Hub clients invest in professional design and watch their rankings climb.
The best time to get a professional cover was before your first sale. The second best time is right now.
